How is life? I was asked one day.
Life is Just Peachy! I replied in my way.
Why do you say that? I was asked to explain.
A peach is sweet and life is too, was my refrain.
My response was rebuffed with this rhetorical commit;
Don’t you know that your peach has a pit!
I replied. Into each life a pit or two must fall.
Yet the peach itself sprang from the pit you so maul.
The moral of this passing exchange is not meant to be preachy.
It is simply that life is just peachy!
